I am so done with the port

I am so done with the port protest, period. It is the same rhetoric over and over, "I did nothing wrong, the police are the ones at fault," "we are making real change," "the war stops here," OK Well the war didn't stop here, and uh, it was on CNN for what, a 5 second brief? Awesome. The war machine is still running. The only thing left over from the port protest were bad tastes in peoples mouths and a huge price tag. Then again, I heard we have lots of lawsuits for millions in damages to look forward too. Crush the state!

But I am Just Another Voice.

I appreciate that perspective...

My partner has grown equally tired of hearing this material as I find time to edit and produce these pieces and she is forced to overhear the testimony again and again. I do however, think this testimony is critically important. You oversimplify just what it is that is being said, and the subtle detail is everything. In reality it is not about the port, the war or money, it is about our social contract, and if we do not determine quickly what it is that we can all agree on, we may find ourselves in very dire straights indeed. The abstract in this case is as critical as the facts. Thank you for watching the videos, if in fact you have, and thank you for your comment either way.

The Port is important

I never tire of witnessing the brave souls who stand up against lawlessness in our state's capitol. It is imperative that they continue to debrief and tell their experiences and stories to the rest of us. I appreciate it that the video is being made available here. Thank you Olympia activists against the illegal use of the port there and this illegal war. Solidarity.
