As long as you look like you know what you are doing, orange vest or not, most people won't question you. My husband as his friends moved all the furniture out of the library at their school (couches, chairs, tables, plants) in the middle of the school day and no one stopped them. They just walked in like they were supposed to be doing it. And after they got it all out, which they didn't think would happen so htey didn't have any plan, they just put it all back.

*I am that person who doesn't throw out rotting things because they're scary and who kills wasps by spraying things on them and screaming.*
