The Masters in Environmental Studies, Graduate Student Association presents THE 17th ANNUAL RACHEL CARSON FORUM, Tuesday, May 8th, 2007, 6 pm, The Evergreen State College, Longhouse. Join us for this longstanding community event. Your friends and family are welcome to this FREE event!

  • Denis Hayes of the Bullitt Foundation will discuss The Role of Solar Energy in a Healthy, Prosperous, Sustainable Future.
  • Entertainment by Olympia's own Planet Percussion Band and singer-songwriter Hank Waite.
  • Light refreshments provided by Aramark!

Denis Hayes helped launch the VERY FIRST Earth Day and was voted speaker for this Rachel Carson Forum by the Masters in Environmental Studies students; Planet Percussion Band is a popular local band that has dancers, drummers, plus a lot of energy and Hank Waite is a Greener Grad with a guitar and some wonderful environmental songs!
