Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army - MAIN MANOEUVRES

Below are the three ways that an army of clowns move together

Fishing -- Clowns move like a school of fish

Stand together in a clump as tight as possible while still having room to move. The person who finds themselves at the front in the direction of the clump initiates a motion/gesture/sound. The clump gradually keeps changing direction, with new people constantly finding themselves at the front on the gaggle.

Pointers: Stay close, keep movements simple, use levels (high to low), the key is completely synchonized movement.

Socking -- The gaggle of clowns moves forward and backward as if it is a sock being pulled inside out.

Moving forward:

Form a clump. Clowns at the back of the clump move to the front of the clump (you can do between or around. Imagine somebody is taking a picture of the clowns and you want to be at the front!) When you find yourself at the back again, move to the front. When you reach a destination, reverse. Clowns at the front move to the back. Peel off.

Advanced version: Sock with an emotion. For example: sock forward with love, sock backward with disgust. Sock forward with hunger, sock backward with nausea. Sock forward with curiousity, sock backward with contempt.

Marching -- By the left quick march!

What can we say? Please master synchonized marching as a platoon. It looks cool and it is a key tactic. We know that it is difficult to embody, so please be gentle with yourselves. Please contact us for a list of full commands, as at the moment it is top secret!

So my friend tells me that in a few years with HDTV and better broadcasting the "siren" of television land will lure you further out to the sea of numbness.  It will capture you with vivid images so real that you feel like you could touch them.  Not good news for a culture slowly slipping into a dream-like state of non-thinking, consummeristic gluttony yet somehow dangerously suffering from social anorexia.  I have read in more than one place that Americans are some of the most over-worked and lonely, friendless people.  Keep living,...keep touching, smelling, feeling, tasting, hearing, loving, hurting, smiling, suffering, wondering.  Consider the lilies, make friends with a cat, argue with your lover, get dirt under your fingernails, pass time doing air guitar, make shadow pictures, choose life.

Wikipedia has a collection of information and opinion on this term: Islamofascism and Islamic fascism, related links to explore also.

I've thought up several things to write about this term but every idea I come up with I can also argue against.

About ten days ago, I attended a session of the summer lecture series at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge (NWR). The series is an annual, summer event sponsored by the Nisqually NWR Friends group. The session was entitled “Recovering Salmon, Restoring the Nisqually Watershed" and it was presented by Jeanette Dorner, the Nisqually Tribe’s Salmon Recovery Program Manager. It was my favorite of the year, not the least because of the energy and passion of the presenter, but because of the good news she brought. Good news is rare in the salmon recovery, environmental restoration and protection world, at least from what I can see.

Hi friends!

This is in invitation for you to support the Immigrants and Workers Rights March that will be happening in Shelton next Sunday the 3rd of September. This is the very first march that immigrant folks in Shelton organize – there was a march in 1994 but it was organized by white allies. I know that there’s usually stuff going on in Oly, but I think it is very important to support this group of people who are stepping up in their community. Please come, bring friends and stuff to make noise (musical instruments VERY welcome). We are especially looking for a group of drummers who could be heading the march, as well as one or two bullhorns (I think that is the name of the piece of equipment).

The march will start at noon in the park just west from Evergreen Elementary School - 900 W Franklin St, Shelton, WA. Coming from Olympia: Take Highway 101 towards Shelton. Take the Shelton City Center – Highway 3 exit. Keep going for 2-3 miles until you are in downtown Shelton. Turn left in Franklin. Keep going until you find the intersection of Franklin and 9th, pass Evergreen Elementary and on the right side is the Park.

If you need more info give me a call: (360) 790 7825. And PLEASE forward to your friends and e-mail lists.

Thanks!!!
Patricia

Check out these precious commercials for Olympia Beer. They must be circa 1970 (I'm guessing).

I don't know where I am.

I mean, I do, I think I do, moments ago I thought I was in Olympia, Washington, checking out the new addition to the Capital Mall, also looking for a cup of coffee.

But now, I'm not so sure.

Hot sun is radiating off cement and large buildings. I might be in L.A.

A sign might help. The one in front of me says "Seattle's Best". Okay, I'm in Seattle.

But that other sign over there reads "Borders". So I'm crossing the border over into Canada.

Hey, what about that sign? "Bed, Bath, and Beyond".

Beyond where? To where?

I manage to lift my gaze higher and I notice a design theme. Flying wedges. I might be in an airport. But that word -beyond- prompts me to think beyond, so........I'm in a space port.

I check out the colors of this sun drenched cement canyon. Admittedly I'm delirious at this point, but I believe I see dusty reds and golds.

I'm on Mars.

Do they serve coffee on Mars?
