I'll do my best to lay out my understanding of their current true-life comedy routine:

Jeff Schoep, head dude of the Nazi group, The National Socialist Movement, says he dismissed Bill White for engaging in libel and slander.

Bill White says he resigned, for various reasons. Also that in some cases, Commander Schoep directed him to do all that libel and slander stuff.

Bill White is now the head dude of his own Nazi group.

Jim Ramm (who is still with the NSM) and Bill White then engaged in rapid fire web flaming and roasting.

At one point a cease fire of hostilities was called and then broken.

Bill White is now suing the NSM, Jim Ramm, and Jeff Schoep for libel: including what White says are their claims that he is actually a Jewish man named Weiss, that his parents are Holocaust survivors, and that he owns strip clubs. (The exact wording of those three claims is now being debated by all sides, what I've listed is close enough for this story.)

Jim Ramm responded with a:
Guess what Bill!

I did what no one expected. I hired a Jewish lawyer to defend against your lawsuit and investigate the possibility of countersuing your ass.

Its costing me good money but he is one of the best lawyers money can buy. You don't know what kind of deep sh*t you just got yourself into.

(My bolding in quote above.)

To which Bill has replied:
Never brag about wasting money.
This is where I'd usually write some sort of summary, but I do believe their comedy routine already speaks volumes. Sometimes the best comedy around is real life.

I just saw this article in the Olympian. Check it out. It is pretty condemning of the "defense" secretary. In my opinion, Rumsfeld has got to go.

Army official: Rumsfeld forbade talk of postwar

By Stephanie Heinatz

Daily Press (Newport News, Va.)

FORT EUSTIS, Va. - Long before the United States invaded Iraq in 2003, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld forbade military strategists to develop plans for securing a postwar Iraq, the retiring commander of the Army Transportation Corps said Thursday.

In fact, said Brig. Gen. Mark Scheid, Rumsfeld said "he would fire the next person" who talked about the need for a postwar plan.

Lawd, Lawd.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003248943_wto08m.html

"Charlize Theron will play a pregnant bystander who loses her baby in Seattle's WTO riots. Susan Sarandon may take the part of a newscaster sympathetic to the protesters.

Former Mayor Paul Schell just hopes the movie re-enacting one of the worst chapters of his political life tells 'the whole story about the 21st-century Boston Tea Party.'"

But the best line of all:

"Keblas said he is working hard to get more of the shooting done in Seattle. But industry economics, including cheaper labor and other financial incentives, are driving the production across the border (In Canada)."

Did nobody ever notice the irony of that?

CNN: Woman in wheelchair on way to gun practice shoots mugger:

Margaret Johnson might have looked like an easy target.

But when a mugger tried to grab a chain off her neck Friday, the wheelchair-bound 56-year-old pulled out her licensed .357 pistol and shot him, police said.

OFS's annual film festival is coming up, and new things are happening. Olympian Story

"We're trying to encourage our local people to continue to produce movies," Yockey said.
To that end, the Olympia Film Society's production wing, Media Studio, will create a film during the festival that will be shown toward the end of the 10-day event. That means people attending the festival could end up in a movie, shooting a movie, or working on lighting, sound or another element of film, she said. (Those interested in signing up now can contact Yockey at the Olympia Film Society office, 360-754-6670.)

Brings me back to Olyblog's anniversary event. This is it folks. We could plan to meet on a specific night of the festival and have an Olyblog presence. We can wear caiman heads.

Anyone else a fan?

I really enjoy his show on MSNBC (he went without the bowtie tonight), and tonight he really nailed it about the ABC mini-series controversy.

Representative Jim Moran (D) from Virginia was on tonight explaining why ABC shouldn't be "re-writing history." Tucker kept trying (and trying) to question why it was Congress's business what a private company does or does not put on their schedule.

In fact, Tucker used the word "freightening" to describe the pressure being put on ABC and said "if Tom DeLay was doing this, you would see how scary it was."

I thought it was ridiculous when members of government were putting pressure on CBS to pull their Reagan mini-series and I think the same applies here.

There is way more going on in this country which Congressional members could be doing to to keep themselves busy rather than worry about a Movie of the Week.
