Greetings fellow Olympians! I post this forum in order to obtain feedback. I have submitted my communications to Ms. Lindsey and to the Olympian's editorial staff. What do you think??? Dear April Lindsey, I am not certain if you read the editorial printed in the Olympian regarding you specifically, so I thought I would provide you with the “real” editorial submitted to the paper, as apposed to the chopped down version. I do this because my point was lost in the printed version and the editorial staff suggested that I take the matter up with you myself. So, this is what I will do. I am most aggravated by your parking tactics. I have spoken with several others who also agree that your behavior is unprofessional and frankly, rude. If you really care about downtown business, you would do your part to make parking available to shoppers. I respectfully request that you STOP parking in 90 minute free stalls through out the week, so that our customers (many who are elderly) can access area businesses. The rest of us must pay for parking, why don’t you? (The following are the communications between myself and the Olympian) Hi there, I have cut my letter down and would really appreciate consideration for publishing. Here is the scaled down version.

I was going to just pm this, but decided others may find it valuable. Is there a way to bypass the call to microsoft when I feel like reinstalling windows xp on my machine? Twice I've had to call due to a motherboard change, and it's kind of frustrating talking with them. Do you know of a way to bypass that?

on Olyblog. I'm not Larry. I only wore his button once. Am I to pay for that mistake for the rest of my life? I gotta tell you though...it is fun being the center of attention.

For anyone that missed the event last month about global warming at the Washington Center, here's the video:

Sometimes I have a tough time with anger expressed online, here on OlyBlog. I get frustrated when I don't understand what I'm reading, when I see us corner and bash away at each other. I know some people don't post at all here because they understandably fear being beaten up for it. I really do believe that there is a way for us all to civilly disagree. I think there is a way to comunicate without trying to shame and harm each other. I also believe that sometimes the most beautiful sentence in the world is "I don't know". We may think we know each other's motivations, we may think we can take another person's inventory, but truly......often we don't know. If only we could admit that rather than making false assumptions and yelling at each other. So, speaking for myself, I'm working on admitting I don't know when I don't know. I'm going to stay out of battles and if I find that I can't even stand to read some comment threads, I'll let the other docents know. I'm going to remember that I don't need to defend myself here, that there is a world beyond these debates, and that we are all just people living our lives. And yes, this really is an open thread, you don't need to stick to this theme I've opened with. I myself can barely believe that it is already November. Love those gorgeous autumn leaves drifting around town.

I always have very vivid, long, weird, in depth dreams. So this is not out of the norm for me but I thought I would share since it had an Olyblogger in it...and not just any Olyblogger! Rob Richards himself. So...
I was with someone and they introduced me to Rob but he was really mean to me and didn't like me. But then suddenly we were best friends. He was being accused of stealing a car. It was really old and olive green and the seatbelts were broken in the back. He told me that a couple had given it to them because they were in their 90's and couldn't drive anymore but they must have forgotten because now they said he stole it. So we went on a drive in the country to a pumpkin patch. Every where we went, there was a private investigator taking pictures of Rob in the car and leaving them with threatening notes that he'd better give the car back. Rob and I decided to go to the mall. We got some corn on the cob there because as Rob told me "best friends always eat corn on the cob together". After that, the dream continued on but Rob wasn't in it anymore and I was in some sort of wrestling competition.
