[Delivered in flat monotone]: Oh. A dog smoking a cigarette. How amazing.

But it has been my experience that little UML dots are not comfortable with being free. They want to take a seemingly random conglomeration and make something out of it. Oh gee [he says with mock wonder], what kind of image will they form with those lines connecting each other?

And we rid the world of those linear definitions. Begone! Begone! Float in the void, little UML dots, hover like dazzly lightning bugs and be free! The steel cage bars of Western logic have been removed and exposed for the illusion they always were!

And so, in this world of ambiguity, it is good to know there are some things that are real and solid-- like spotting license plates with the UML letters. I have now accounted for over ten percent of all Washington State UML plates. In this special Election Day installment, the following numbers have been recorded and charted on this grid. Note: 864 was actually seen downtown by a special and deputized UML spotter. 020, 030, 032, 065, 068, 216, 220, 230, 250, 266, 279, 302, 321, 342, 421, 429, 669, 708, 720-721, 816, 841-842, 846, 864, 889, 933.

Who else is like me, and watches the election results on the computer, refreshing here and here?

If you are like me, let's chat. Oh yeah, and the polls start updating at 8:00 p.m.

I was on my way to work today when I stopped to get gas at the local Time gas station. The gas pumps were taped off with caution tape and the sign with the gas prices was empty. The mini mart was still open. Anyone know what's going on with the Time gas station?

Someone recently posted a dream they had, but I couldn't find that thread. So I'm starting this one in the mean time. Here's a recent one:

I am driving and having trouble finding the pedals, like the brake when I need it. So I coast slowly across an intersection with a busy road. Other cars are bearing down on me. Now I can’t find the gas peddle, so I’m pushing on the steering wheel to move the car across the intersection more quickly. I coast across the intersection and into a narrow brick-lined alley that looks meant for pedestrians. I try to back up but someone is behind me. So I go forward, slaloming slowly between vehicle barriers. The alley becomes the atrium of a large bank-like building. Instead of a car, now I’m on skates and still having trouble stopping and turning. When I accidentally skate through a metal detector, the security personnel yell at me. “I’m just going through,” I shout as I point at the exit doors on the other side of the atrium. They seem okay with that, but they kept watching me as I skate ineptly around the atrium trying to make it to the exit doors, which I finally do.

Olympia's Capital City Pride is an inclusive celebration of diversity and community building. Capital City pride is unique in that it truly brings together all parts of the community: gay, lesbian, transgendered, straight and bisexual from all around the Pacific Northwest. Olympia's 2007 Pride Festival and parade, the second-largest in Washington, drew more than 7,000 from all across the region. The week-long 2008 Capital City Pride culminates with the festival and parade June 22.
