Well, it's campaign season, and we Doug Mah supporters are working night and day to get out to as many citizens of Olympia as we can. Olympia is a great town, becoming an even greater city. Doug Mah wants to make sure that you and your family are a part of that growth. The first thing you can do is support Doug's campaign for Mayor of Olympia. "I know he's been on the council for awhile, but what is Doug really all about?" Find out all about Doug and where he stands on the issues that affect you and your friends, family, and neighbors, right here at www.DougMah.com GO DOUG!! and keep eye out on olyblog and all over town for more on Doug's campaign

![]() an excerpt from Arthur Edward Waite's The Pictorial Key to the Tarot Five of Wands "It is mimic warfare, and hereto correspond the Divinatory Meanings: Imitation, as, for example, sham fight, but also the strenuous competition and struggle of the search after riches and fortune. In this sense it connects with the battle of life."

1. Is it really true most women strongly dislike the 3 Stooges? If so, then why? Is the classic eye-poke not funny? 2. Is it possible for Stooge fans to discuss Larry, Moe, Curly and Shemp without imitating them? 3. Would you rather spend a day watching all Curly episodes, or all Shemp? (For the record, I like both, but lean toward the latter).

Jul 28 2007 - 7:30pm Jul 28 2007 - 11:30pm Three local and two formerly local teen girlz will be hosting a dessert cafe fundraiser next Saturday, July 28th, at 1310 Central St (between Leavenworth and San Francisco, right near the San Francisco St. Bakery).
This is a fundraising effort for the historically excellent Camp EARS. What is Camp EARS, you ask? Johanna Marshall, camp counselor extraordinaire, describes Camp EARS like so: "Camp Ears is an independent, camper-founded, awesome-time-having girls’ summer camp that’s been rocking since 2002. Based in trust and the pursuit of fun, we increase our creativity, self-reliance, intelligence, and leadership skills through workshops, games and new experiences. Campers are responsible for planning the camp, as well as facilitating activities and fundraising. This year we’re traveling to Philadelphia for an urban camp adventure!" Hope to see you there, and please spread the word! Questions or comments? Want to donate dessert or a beverage? Have a thousand dollars you want to give to the camp?email: camp_ears@hotmail.com ![]()

Olympia, Washington residents are announcing an immediate boycott of all McClatchy Company news products! McClatchy owns The Olympian newspaper, located in Olympia, Washington. Writers at The Olympian are currently writing innacurate, inflammatory, and divisive articles, to the detriment of the community & neighborhoods of Olympia. The Olympian does not represent Olympia and should keep their divisive comments regarding the City of Olympia, to themselves, and should not be in a position to monetarily profit from their belittling of the City of Olympia. Newspaper readers nationwide are urged to stop purchasing all McClatchy newspapers, until The Olympian’s editors and writers refrain from portraying Olympia, Washington in a negative light.

Olympia beekeeper Jack Roberton has been stung a lot during the past few years. While bee stings rarely make him wince anymore, the financial sting of failed honeybee colonies in the South Sound and across the nation have resulted in the pain of higher prices and lower yields, and Roberton is worried his days of peddling honey are coming to an end. This is an excellent article by Hilary Maynard of the Business Examiner about beekeeping in the South Sound: Hives and the hive nots
