Hey folks, I've just started a wiki for resource-sharing on sustainable living, with a local focus. Would anyone here be interested in helping build the site? Participation requires a simple user ID on wikispaces, which is free and easy to set up. Just go to the wiki site ( olympiasustainableliving.wikispaces.com ) and click on the "join this space" link on the upper left hand side. If you want to know more about how to set up the pages, there is a tutorial on the wikispaces main page. I'd like to see a lot of how-to instructions, with links and contact info for local organizations and stores. (eg. a "Building a vegetable garden for beginners" page with contact info for local organic garden supply stores and links to Grub and Terra Commons) The idea is to make sustainable living as simple and easy as possible for people who are new to the idea or want to make real changes in their lifestyle. Come visit and pitch in! NOTE: I fixed the link. Thanks Ehver Green!

And even now, as I write, the deeper meaning is revealing itself.

The removal of the grid lines leave the little dots, each representing a UML number, floating in space. I would say "aimlessly floating in space" but that would be misleading. No matter how chaotic it might look at first, everything in life has a pattern and a purpose ...

In this round of UML sightings, I spotted 40, 61, 63, 65, 69, 205, 211, 216, 256, 274, 328, 336, 342, 418, 429, 498, 520, 526, 691, 739, 758, 761, 816, 826, 974, 985, 997. Some of these have been seen before. The combined total of all 4 UML rounds equals about 8% of Washington State license plates bearing the UML letter sequence combination. The numbers from round 4 are presented here on a special grid.

Lucky Charms are not "magically" delicious.

Rob brought this up on another thread and it looks like enough of us are interested to actually justify going to the Brotherhood for other than the usual reasons. Anyone interested in talking about how we can bring our Moxlie Creek into the light of day? Care to get together for a chat this Wednesday at 7:00? Damn the culverts, full stream ahead! |
