Thanks to all who have been tagging flickr images with real images of Olympia. While I enjoy Enpens photos, our Olywa Flickr feed has been buried in Graffiti and tags. Olympia is so much more an it is great to see some new images that reflect the beauty of our area as well.

Dear friends,

Have you ever been hurt by a friend, relative, family member or total stranger here in Olympia and kept the pain to yourself and bottled it up?

Please join us activists for the Discussion Event for A New Chapter of the "Keep It Real" Anthology. Even if you can't join us simply send in your stories or photos to my email address.

I am creating a non-fiction anthology which is a collection of stories of people who live in Olympia (Tumwater or Lacey) about people who 'unbottle the stories of pain caused by others'

Chelsea Baker of Danger Room Comics and radical bookmaker Kelsie Raddas will talk about the history of alternative publishing and help you to create your own zines and mini-comix. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own images and writing.

We're also thinking really hard about starting a zine collection at the Olympia Library, so come and tell us what you think!

Questions? Call the Olympia Library at 352-0595
