The elder son Francis is face down on the pavement being handcuffed.
“This is ridiculous. When did fascist become such a hot word?”

After an extended period of unemployment I have begun working for the Parks and Recreation Department of City of Olympia as a groundskeeper. Whack, mow and blow dontcha know. Working for the City is very nice for reasons I will elaborate on later. While making the city a prettier place to be I began to reflect on the best and worst manual labor jobs I’ve had and a funny thought came to me. You know you’re an Olympian Working Class Hero if:
I hope Olyblog readers will add to the list in the spirit of wry humor. Please, no left/right/center rants.

Ryan Christopher Jackson, owner of Jackson Insuance Agency in Lacey has petitioned the Thurston County Superior Court to get his dog back. The only surviving dog. The other dog, Nickie, had to be euthanized after is was found in such terrible shape at Jackson's home in Lacey that it was continually vomiting and could no longer stand. It's bowels were twisted and it leaned against the walls of the home to support its weight. The hearing is on Thursday April 17 in Richard Strophy's courtroom in Building Two of the courthouse complex.
Jackson now wants "Ginger" returned to him. When taken by Animal Control, Ginger weighed 20 pounds. A dog her size averages about 50 pounds. The dogs were seized because they were found to be at imminent risk of death. Unfortunately, that was true for Nickie.
I am unsure of the time of the hearing, but you could call Animal Services or Superior Court to find out. You could also call Farmers Insurance and tell them how you feel about Mr. Jackson. I encourage everyone who cares about animals to let your voice be heard. show up at the courthouse with your own dog and give these poor animals a voice.
It would be a terrible miscarriage of justice for that dog to be returned to someone who failed to give it food and water. I am sure that Ryan Jackson fed himself over those several weeks that his dogs were starving.
