Feb 1 2008 - 5:16pm Opening February 1, at the State of the Arts Gallery, a new show “Art, Ardor and Adornment” opens. Regional artists have created art works in all media along this theme. There will be an opening party on February 1, from 5 to 7 to meet the artists and see the show. The show will remain up until March 15. Over 12 artists in clay, paint, jewelry and fabric have come together to celebrate love and Valentines day. There will be interpretations of this theme in the form of adornment (wearable art, jewelry, floor cloths and more) hand made art cards, new paintings and other works. The artists participating are: Jennifer Bowma Kris Allen, Leslie Goldstien, Lisa Taylor, Jaki Reed, Patty Forte’ Linna, Carol Hannum, Lisa Lloyd, Jane Perrigo, Pam Sanders, Phu Nguyen, Jennie Throckmorton, Marti Carrol and Deb Martz.
