A celebration and sale of local arts and crafts and a fundraiser for POWER (Parents Organizing for Welfare and Economic Rights)

What: POWER, formerly the Olympia Welfare Rights Organizing Coalition, is holding it’s 7th annual art and crafts sale. Affordable art, a raffle for a massage, live music, coffee, tea and desserts are featured at this two-day extravaganza.

When: Saturday, December 8th, 5 – 9 pm and Sunday, December 9th, 10 am – 3 pm (Duck the Malls at the Capitol Theater is also happening on Sunday, December 9th. This provides a unique opportunity for community members to spend their dollars locally, supporting local artists and crafters and two amazing nonprofit organizations.)

Where: ArtPOWER is in two beautiful locations in downtown Olympia this year!

Bryce’s Barbershop, 118 4th Avenue and Studio Four18, 418 Washington Street

Who: POWER is a non-profit, grassroots organization made up of low-income parents working in the community to educate people about their rights, improve people’s knowledge of poverty issues, and agitate for policies that end poverty. All donations directly benefit the artists and POWER.

Cost: Free!
