Anthony Arnove, author of Iraq: The Logic of Withdrawal and co-editor, with Howard Zinn, of Voices of a People’s History of the United States will make two appearances in Olympia this week-end.

On Friday, May 4th, Arnove will discuss his book and the current situation in Iraq, at 7PM, Traditions Café, 300 5th Avenue SW in Olympia. He will be joined by Chanan Suarez-Diaz of Iraq Veterans Against the War. The event is sponsored by Olympia Movement for Justice and Peace, (OMJP), and the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador, (CISPES), in cooperation with the Rachel Corrie Foundation.
