Explore the symbols of Scotland. Find out more about Scottish heritage, bagpipes, military regalia, customs and traditions of Scotland with representatives of the Olympia Highlanders Bagpipe Band. This event is part of the Ethnic Celebration Community Conversation series, a partnership of the Olympia Timberland Library, Timberland Regional Library and the City of Olympia. Presented by The Olympia Highlanders Bagpipe Band.

Tartan!

Go Scots! Seems to be a theme this week. I love bagpipe music when it is played by real artists.

This makes my Scottish blood

rise to the top. A wonderful version ...

Thanks Agathafrye

Thanks for posting news of all these great events!

These guys were great last year...

They paraded through the library to mixed reactions. I thought they were great, but some of the other patrons who still live in the myth of the quiet library... not so much.
