Cross posted at Olympia Time. The Olympian this morning pointed out the difference between Olympia's youth outreach efforts and the Tumwater youth program. Olympia recently cut their $30,000 or so program because it didn't attract much of a following and Tumwater's $120,000 program is roaring along. Submitted by Sarah on Sun, 05/07/2006 - 6:37pm.The old Rainy Day Records location would be great except for the fact that I've heard the leases in that complex are too high. Plus having a little land for gardening might be nice to have with the drop in center.
I wonder how much that now vacant lot across the way costs.
I like the idea of having several drop in centers, including one on the west side.
