 Ignorant Movie Review: Santa Smokes Response to title: I about shot coffee out of my nose when I saw this title. Maybe “Smokes” is the name of a gentleman department store Santa? The title puts me in the mood for a black comedy. Response to curbside poster: What the hell? This looks like a…romance? Response post-credits: The only thing this movie has going for it, in my mind, is that it taps into the collective unconscious disgust for Christmas as consumer orgy; however, while I often find low budget lighting, sound and cinematography endearing, I don’t in this case. The “film” follows the exploits of an aspiring actor in Rating: 0.0025 out of 5 Oly Stubbies. Film Haiku: Till Terror written Can be seen: Olympia Film Society
