In searching for potentially community valuable Web based content I've primarily been looking with two things in mind: (1) Allows shared experience (hence the movie, once it's seen the experience of the film becomes shared and increases similarities which in turn increases the possibility of empathy). (2) Increases the ability to effectively work together. Many of the tools that my searching turns up have been created to increase business productivity and efficiency. I see no reason why many (if not all) of these tools could not be used by community activists. With that said, tonight's link is to a free online web conference service called Yugma. As well, I include a link to an interesting study about the economic impact of the Open Source revolution on the European Union. It makes me happy.
