Hey anybody, how come OlyBlog is now falling off the right hand screen side. I've used four different computers, and have to scroll back and forth on each one to read the home page and blog entries. Before a couple of weeks ago, the entire page was viewable on the screen.

Did anyone make it to the Camp Quixote dinner last night (Sunday). I haven't seen anything about it on olyblog. I thought last night was supposed to the fundraising dinner planned and cooked by the residents. I looked for info on olyblog yesterday about the time and location, but couldn't find any. Maybe I had the wrong day written on my calendar.

Are you ready to say good bye to the team? Oklahoma Super Sonic's just doesn't have the same ring.

Any NASCAR fans out there in olyblog world? Will Jeff Gordon or Jimmy Johnson win the Chase? My husband is a #24 Gordon fan. I am rooting for Bowyer since my main man Mark Martin is out of in the Chase. What about you? Looks like it may be a rainy northwest afternoon today. Think I'll curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book, bowl of popcorn, glass of wine, and NASCAR on the wide screen.

What a beautiful fall day in Olympia. Crisp blue sky ringed with puffy white clouds. November bliss! Slipped down to the Farmer's Market about Noon to restock my apple and veggie bins. Amazing crowd for a November morn -- singles, couples, and families pondering their purchases, laughing, visiting ... great sense of community. Then on to Bayview for lunch overlooking the bay. Roused myself to come home and prune in my flower garden. Sun ... conversation ... friends ... exercise. All wrapped up in beautiful setting. That's Olympia to me this fine day. What's it to you? |
