Natural Learning, a publication of Olympia Free School, is looking for volunteers to come on board as we expand to offer an online journal. We are looking for writers, columnists, photographers, web masters, graphic designers, and anyone else with a zest for supporting alternatives in education in Olympia and abroad to volunteer in our community Free School. 

Natural Learning provides a diversity of real life experiences and stories, while honoring self-directed and community- based learning. We aim to be a community forum for exchanging ideas, insight, information, and perspectives about education which supports self-reliance and critical thinking.  We encourage teens and adults to contribute stories of their success in educational programs unfettered by centralized or conventional schooling. We encourage homeschoolers, unschoolers, deschoolers, and free schoolers to get involved. Natural Learning, the two-year-old  journal of the Olympia Free School is leaving the printed page to become a reliable online resource accessible to the community at large. However, Free School's current classes will continue to be listed in a printed catalog available (free, of course)  in Thurston County.  The next issue, listing winter classes, will be available in December.
