For all of you folks that enjoy meeting up for coffee we are having another get together. Think 10'ish this saturday at borders on the westside. Comments, feedback, rsvp's and such, just leave them on here. Regards, Norm PS. I once again forgot ( and don't really know how ) to make this an event. Any mod's out there willing to give a gentle nudge?

We do have some great book stores in Olympia (I'm partial to Orcas), but overall selection must go to Borders. Plus, it's on the Westside!
I think Border's is fine.
Submitted by OperaGirl on Wed, 11/29/2006 - 6:01pm.I think Border's is fine. Plus the last time we went there the barista guy gave me a thing for a free drink and I haven't been back to use it! =) And I don't think anyone is going to buy books - we are just taking up space. Heh.
So I agree with Border's for this Saturday and then maybe next time we can do Vic's again. Or Traditions. But if we ever meet at Traditions someone is going sit on me so I don't buy all the *adorable* toys they have there!

Submitted by go econo on Wed, 11/29/2006 - 11:19pm.Hate to continue the sidetrack from Norm's invitation to coffee, but this soup thing is speaking to me tonight. Two recommendations:
1) mae un tang - korean fish soup at Osaka in Tanglewilde (or, got to Paldo World and buy fresh ingredients to make it at home)
2) Mekong's #10 tom tum kan tofu
