Does he stand a chance?

It's an older poll
Submitted by Norm on Sat, 01/06/2007 - 12:40pm....but take a look
Now, realize that this guy only needs to capture the republican base, not all of the US. Also realize, not everyone votes strictly on choice/women rights. If replublicans feel that he fits everything else, but not the abortion issues, do you think they will vote for him, or the democrat? Feel free to look at his republican competition. Most likely guiliani, and mccain. Who do you think republicans are going to endorse in this two-party system?
Here is another poll. Look at the numbers among conservatives/republicans. I'd say this guy has a fighting choice among the red.

the primaries
Submitted by enpen on Sat, 01/06/2007 - 1:27pm.I really enjoy the primaries season of the presidential election cycle. It's as close as we actually get to a multi-partied system and is at least mildly indicative of citizen views insofar as you don't come across anywhere near as much "best of the worst" voting justification. And on top of that? I like hearing the off-the-cuff remarks from the people who know they won't win.
"Anybody who doesn't know that politics is crime has got a few screws loose."
as if in any sense our vote counted!
