So, I've been dieting lately. I'm lighter, but don't feel lighter. Stronger, and faster, but still not as much of either as I'd like.

As of this last week I officially fit into the height/weight requirement for the WSP. I'd really like to cushion this though with 2 or 3 lbs. The trouble being that I've seem to hit a plateau.

I've been running, but the recent weather has made running miserable, so tonight I'm trying a treadmill, which is miserable also, but the lesser of evils.

With all of that in mind, does anyone have suggestions on losing a couple of pounds?

I'm game

Yeah, my liver hurt when I read Rob's response.

I'll go, but if the girls all laugh at me I'm never coming back :(

No one will laugh

I usually go to the noon class, and when I started it was full of white-haired retirees, and they were all loading up with these big, heavy weights, and there I was with my little 1 kg weights, struggling along, and no one laughed.  I am going today at noon! Wanna come?  Or would an evening class suit your schedule better?  Message me!

More Compassionate Acts

In order to lose those additional pounds, I suggest:
  • taking part in random acts of compassion.
  • sending out warm vibrations and positive regards to those you encounter throughout the day.
Jogging is great too though, my jogging advice: if it hurts, or is too painful, try slowing down - but stick with it.

don't drive (if you do)

bike, all the time, every where-- get good at it, try Capital Peak this way: bike, there and back (for starters) then, try a nice ride up to the top and enjoy your downhill-- you will have earned it

UPDATE

Between one butt-aching session of aerobic kickboxing, and mixing up my workout I'm officially 5 lbs lighter than I was when I first started this thread. Thanks for the suggestions.
