Good news
Submitted by white feather on Thu, 05/04/2006 - 8:02am.That is good news they think they can keep up with the demand. Now will the price go up as demand goes up,,,,,probably. Hopefully BioD is always a little lower than the dino stuff.
Also, I don't know about all of you but I'm tired of all the whining about the price of gas. Yes, I don't like paying more for the stuff, but how many of the whiners have modified their driving behavior? I know I have. My acceleration is much slower now, and my cruising speed has been reduced as well. I have seen an increase of 5-6 mpg in our least efficent car, going from 19-20 mpg per tank to 24-25 mpg per tank.
People are still jack rabbiting from stop lights, and cruise 5-10 mph over the speed limit. If you do the speed limit on I-5 you get run over and dirty looks.
If everybody slowed down, and took it easy, fuel consumption would go down, demand would go down and price would go down.
So stop whining and do something about it. But we are Americans, and we love to whine, and blame someone else, i.e. the oil companies. They are just a business and they will eek out of the market what it can stand.
Amen white feather.
