Who's Peter? and the fat guy with the cameras?

Just a guess, here. The

Just a guess, here.
The first one might be a saint--the disciple who founded the Christian church and the one whom you rob to pay Paul. He could also be a pumpkin-eater, a rabbit, or part of a complex presidents'-names mnemonic device (ie, Pete the French Paperboy).

The second one is probably Drew.

Oh... right. yeah.

Despite the cleverness of my initial response, I'm changing my answer to "Who is Pete Bohmer?"

I know you're a nazi and everything...

...but if you really want to have a conversation, you have to cut out the racist crap and name calling. If you have something to say, I'm sure you can do it without engaging in verbal abuse. Otherwise, get your own blog. This is your one and only warning.

I could also do without the

I could also do without the name calling and slurs. If you don't mind too much, though, I'd really like to hear what this guy has to say, even if it is racist.

Here's the big question on my mind, Mr. Nazi.  I'd really like to know what this whole "white genocide" thing is all about.  I mean, I'm white, and if I were at risk of being killed in some horrible genocide, I'd really like to know about it.  Please do try to educate a poor ignorant stiff like myself.  (Without the racial slurs please.  Oh, and please do try to be rational and to make sense.)

Don't you think refering to

Don't you think refering to him as "Mr. Nazi" is kind of in the same vein as some of his comments? The power that you can have in communication comes directly in the language you use, calling him Mr Nazi is no different than him calling people niggers and kikes.

Forgive me, Rob, if I find

Forgive me, Rob, if I find that poking a little fun at someone's (repugnant) worldview is no-where near to being the same as throwing around racial slurs. Don't forget that this guy, no doubt, takes great pride in the label "Nazi". I think that deserves to be made fun of.

On the other hand, I would really like to try to make some sense of his rationale behind his racist views.  I don't understand him.  And I recognize that my comments were counterproductive to understanding, so I apologize and I promise to refrain from poking fun at Nazis in the future.

I'm sorry if I sound judgmental

I've been putting ALOT of thought into developing ways to bridge divides between people lately. It all boils down to the way we talk to one another, especially the language we choose. I don't mean swear words. I mean dualistic language. If we could remove any qualifiers or labels that separate "us from "them" from our speech, we would be more effective communicators. What I thought after you called him "Mr. Nazi" was that he would see that, take it as the disrespect that it was intended to be, and most likely respond with violent speech in return. There's really no way, in my opinon, that he would initiate any meaningful conversation with you after that. Even though you asked him to share his thoughts with you after, that one comment would most likely prevent him from having a desire to do that.

Thank you Rob.

You hit the nail right on the head, and I have taken note.

He literally is a nazi...

...and if you could see his email address, as I can, you wouldn't have any question in your mind. I don't think Necrobutcher would dispute the appellation.
»

Yes

I used to think that most everyone in these modern times would hear "Nazi" as negative, no matter what their philosophy and beliefs. And I and most everyone I knew always used "Nazi" as a negative term.

But then I learned that some people straight up identify as Nazis, they are Nazis, they say they are Nazis, Nazism is their way. Like Rick says, he literally is a Nazi.

I read Phil's use of "Mr. Nazi" as a gently humorous even friendly form of address to a person who actually is a Nazi.
