Goldy takes the Olympian to the woodshed for its coverage of Mark Wilson's campaign.

From HorsesAss.Org:

Hmm. If I ran a futile, joke campaign for the US Senate, would The Olympian cover it? Probably… yeah… because my futile, joke campaigns tend to be kinda funny, as opposed to Mark Wilson, whose campaigns tend to be just, um… futile. Still, The Olympian apparently took Wilson seriously enough to give him some ink today for his campaign against Sen. Maria Cantwell in the Democratic primary, so I suppose it’s only fair to read what he has to say, and take him at his word.

Shoot, it wasn't even The

Shoot, it wasn't even The Olympian or Wilson the posting got after. It was the progressives who would be willing to vote for Wilson on one issue.

I'm glad the Olympian

I'm glad the Olympian covered Wilson. Knowing this guy changes parties the way Rush "Family Values" Limbaugh changes wives is good information. I have no one to vote for in this election for Senate, but I'll probably just hold my nose and take a chance when November comes.

Wilson is not the only marginal officeseeker to run in the mainstream party primaries. There are two Republicans challenging McGavick:

C. Mark Greene

Brad Klippert

Also, earlier this month Whatcom County Libertarian Bruce Guthrie announced he's running. Dixon and Guthrie could possibly cancel out each other's "spoiler" status, as they might siphon out an equal number of votes from the Republicrats.
