How's this new theme workin' with y'all? Any kinks in the system that I should be worried about? The picture is from Akameus. Go check out his flickr page -- he's got lots of other great pictures of Olympia.

Excellent!

I think the photo's beautiful.

I like it

So far, I like it. And I think the site is working a little better (page loading wise).
»

as well

I like it. The deeper blue is very... winter.

Excctly what I thought! And

Excctly what I thought! And the bigger, chunkier text is more... visceral? I dunno, it's very fitting for this time of year.

Very Nice!

No image (now I see one)

Using Firefox right now and no image is loading at all. I'll check later through other browsers too and after rebooting. I've reloaded the page several times - nothing.

Everything else I see I really like, good choice!

Moments later...........aha! I see the image now, gorgeous. Seasonally fitting and I like the choice of a night view.

Good!

The page-loading time is slightly better, although hard to tell in some instances.  That, for me, was my biggest gripe with the site, since it's bringing in so many small items from other websites.  I definitely like the look though!  Thanks for all your hard work!

I like it except for...

... all those gray raindrops under the five day forecast.  Maybe you could improve that color scheme?

gray day calling

Hey, you're knockin' my favorite time of the year!  It's easy to concentrate on the gray, but look at how a gray background forces all of the other colors to come out!  Green...everywhere!  Except for the bare trees...but I can't even begin to explain the happiness this natural melancholy brings out in me.  Last night I had to take a walk downtown just to collect the mistiness on my pate.  The brumousness is hazeilicious.

"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer. If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire, for we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!"

OK.

I worked in a little bit of sun on Sunday. I'm kinda busy right now, so that's the best I could do on short notice.

It's SUCH an improvement!

Rick, you're a genius.

I think we already talked

I think we already talked about it but in case you forgot, I like the new layout.
»

I like it

It is definitely loading faster, which is sweet.  I like the bold titles too.
»

more than anything

I really appreciate the sped up load.  The picture is nice, and the color theme is NW quality.  Although...maybe hyperlinks could be green?  We need some green...

Complete and Total Horror!

I dislike being the one to cast asparagus at this image, but we are looking at the FLOD at dusk, folks. Beautiful, yes, but deadly. So very deadly. So very incredibly and underwear-soiling frighteningly DEADLY!! A fitting choice of graphics from Rick the Caiman Master.

Resist!

I beg everyone to be aware of the misdirection currently being attempted by a certain unnamed cartoonist. Let he who has never dumped caimans in the Fetid Lake of Doom cast the first stone of blame.

Rick is simply working to clean up the mess made by another, why shouldn't he make a profit while he is at it?

What's this about profit?

I missed that memo.

Rolling in dough

Remember those guys who slipped you that bag o' cash at you know where? And our "friends" that I visit once a month to collect up their "donations" to the Protect Oly fund? Surely you haven't already spent all the profits from the Lakefair Caiman Burger stand. Plus that sideline in caiman leather boots and briefcases. Oh and you know, the gate fee for tourists at the ranch.

Just because I forgot one time to turn over the proceeds from that other thing, doesn't mean you are suddenly starving. My god, if nothing else you can gnaw on barbecued caiman ribs anytime. Also there is that other thing. With those guys. Heck, you are rolling in dough, admit it!
