And nobody got hurt. (Although there are some who will be punished for not attending, as soon as the caiman posse catches up with them, poor things.)

OlyBloggers in attendance: Sarah, Meta, Phil, Norm, Jade, V-ster, Rob and myself. The band was hot, and in between songs, the conversation alternated between goofy and profound (mostly goofy, I'm glad to report). Here are some pictures from the evening's events:

Here's the initial crew. From the left: Norm, Meta, Rob, and Rick (making the sign of the caiman). Sarah's taking the picture (sorry Jimbo).

This is Meta displaying the caiman symbol: ^@^. Scary.

In this picture, two angry caimans square off in an ancient ritual of caiman fighting.

Norm blogs the action in real time.

No Caimans Here, PLEASE!

I was sick yesterday sob sob. Louis dropped by Bread and Roses while I went to the holistic healer. Then we harrassed Long Hair and I laughed so hard I got tired again, so we had to go home. Silly man left his door open while he was in the little activist's room. I checked to make sure Louis wasn't looked and let go of Lobita's leash. She looks like a white wolf. So of course she went wandering through the house looking for him. But alas she did not catch him in the act because she stopped to eat the cat food in the kitchen haha. We are coming into town next Monday though. I would love to meet you. Lobita and I are going to the lake today. I want to look for the caiman and nutria and see if I can entice them to talk to me.

I am thinking caiman might like those trees in the marshy area, on the path side. Oh caiman! Oh caiman! Why are you swimming in this lake and what did you eat today? Do you want to eat me? I would not be tasty. I am old and stringy, not much meat on my bones. Oh nutria! People are making jokes about cooking you cajun style. I'm sorry. I want to apologize but some humans, you never know what they like to eat. You're safe with me. I like tofu hotdogs.

I will report back if I meet any new friends. I might toss a bit of string cheese in the water and be real quiet and watch. I just hope there are no other dogs around. Loba starts dog parties and then gets mad when they try to lick me. She is a little possessive, that dog, and she's an alpha female. No licking her butt and no licking her mommy. (Male dogs get lustful thoughts at the sight of her. I have shamed many dog owners with that admission. Your dog is lustful. Shorten the leash.)

On the way home...

from the Brotherhood I saw something run across East Bay Drive as fast as lightning. I think it may have been a mutant caiman. Or Nutria. I am dead serious, folks. This was no possum.

Remember the good times?

It's been awhile since those 4 people were in the same room together.

JPO, Funny you dredged this

JPO, Funny you dredged this one up. I was sitting in Norm's seat just a couple of weeks ago. And....yes...I do occasionally patronize the Broho :)
