As the weather changes, I realize that I need to find fun places that are dry and warm to take my son to. The hands on museum is an obvious one, and I need to get a membership. Anyone know of any other cheap places that mix fun and stimulation and education?

Submitted by hrstruggle on Fri, 11/03/2006 - 10:07am.Another great indoor idea is to create a network of friends who can host play-dates. If you get a 3-5 families that like to participate that you trust, you can just have your kid go over to their friends house for a few hours . . . that's always fun to play with friends.
I don't do this often but the mall has a play structure at one end. It's right next to Chuck-E-Cheese though and there is so much crap in the mall.
found this in the Olympian today
