Four of us OlyBlog women lounged around in Sylvester Park last evening, I enjoyed. We got a chance to discuss how strange this last week has been and also to make all sorts of exactly perfect decisions for our community at large, I think all four of us should be appointed Mayor(s).

On the way home, the light of the slowly setting sun over Olympia had me in awe, I decided that it appeared as if someone had ladled liquid gold over the city from above. The air was cooling to a comfortable level, folks looked calmer and more at ease, everything and everyone touched by gold.

I actually felt somewhat

I actually felt somewhat centered as I was returning home that evening, which is a very nice feeling after the Fetid Week of Doom I just had. Even though I think I said about seven words the entire time I was there, I had a great time!

Me too

I love that "Fetid Week of Doom"! So pleased to meet both you and kiki and to hang out with Meta again.

We all did fine, more than fine. All this social stuff is sorta new to me again, and since I'm a wee bit introverted (actually a lot), I tend to afterwards dream up all this stuff I supposedly did wrong........but, truly, we all done good.

Yeah, mad props to us! We

Yeah, mad props to us! We really socialized our butts off. I call it a smashing success.

Social stuff is something

Social stuff is something I'm getting used to again.  I've been learning coping mechanisms for my social anxiety disorder but I still have a ways to go.  It's been so wonderful to meet so many people from here and exchange ideas, though.  When I got home I was smiling at the thought of free bikes and community gardens and I am feeling so hopeful about this community and it's future.

Maybe it's just that I'm putting out a different vibe or maybe it's just Olympia but it's been rad to be surrounded by positive and innovative and hilarious people.  When I moved here I left a lot of cynicism and mean spiritedness behind.

Anna-You came up with Geo Bucks and horseism (horsism?), you are #1 punner.
