See the movie already, just do it, no excuses.

Movie

Just finished watching it. Good movie. Every American owes it to him or herself to watch this film. Highly informative concerning the corrupt practices surrounding the privitization of the Iraq war and the "rebuilding" industry. I found the testimonials to be sincere and powerful. The executors of the war (Bush, Cheney and the rest) have some real explaining to do. No more lies. No more blood for oil. No more blood for greedy tycoons.

Cannon fodder

The workers, soldiers and private employees, are treated like cannon fodder.

Good mix of testimonials in this film, including from conservatives, Republicans, and ex-military. The stories of what the private companies are getting away with are appalling.

It's good...

...to watch movies like these.  If anyone is interested, here is the link for signing up for DOD's e-mails (one of which is for the announcement of any contract over $5 million).  I've been signed up for the last few years, mostly out of sheer curiosity and partially because this is the only opportunity we actually get to see this information.  One cautionary word of warning, though:  I attempted to get myself removed from their e-mail lists on multiple occassions about two years ago and still receive between 20 & 50 DoD e-mails daily.  That's our military...a bunch of frickin' spammers.
