I'm wrapped up in a rain coat enjoying my almost Spring Oly morning walk and I hear the sound of music swell as it draws near. My head is up in time to look round for the vehicle that must have windows down and driver enjoying. Plus now all this is enhanced by the bellow of a young male who surely is celebrating the approach of Spring.

Usually, another day, different season, I might guess that I'm being cat-called but today is today, the young man is not hassling me and we can share the road. I muse on how the sap rises in the Spring but once I'm home and in google heaven I discover that no, it does not.

Spring is a time for loosening up, aimless strolls, and ecstatic bellows. We can dust off our sense of humor, indulge in creativity, seek inspiration, stand up for what we believe in, and remind each other that sometimes a bellow is a bellow. Sometimes Spring is a season or a mechanical part or a source of water. All is good.

What signs of Spring are you enjoying?
