Recently, the New Moon Cafe (113 4th Avenue W. Olympia) has decided to open up its doors to the night-time crowd. New employees, a new menu and a new atmosphere have been expertly implemented in to the nightside equation! So come check out the raucous and risotto - prices are reasonable, and the food is ever so delectable. in addition to these epic changes, they have recently received their liquor license, which will be in effect very soon. Come have a beer and a burger! Meddle with the Nighthawks! oh....it's Vegetarian Friendly Too! Nightside hours are:
Thursday - 6pm - 12am! Personally, i recommend the Wild Mushroom Risotto. Hell yeah! P.S. - The Menu is attached if you'd like to check it out!

In Lieu of recent concerns for the protest tonight at the Capital Playhouse, we will NOT be blockading the playhouse due to possible police action(brutality) and also concerning protestors with previous criminal backgrounds, mostly the unhoused population. It would not be wise to endanger homeless protesters - however, we need as much support as possible.
» what we WILL be doing, though is continuing a public display/public protest of the ordinances directly at the mouth of the beast, the Capital Playhouse. I noticed on the blog that a number of citizens/olympians were concerned with how this display is going down. it will be non-violent and under the guise of no organization. i encourage you all to rid yourselves of dogmatic thinking, theory and fear of both the city council and the actions they will take against the denizens and patrons of downtown olympia. let's face the facts... they passed the ordinance, and we need relentless action against the city council's decision.

TOMORROW NIGHT @ 7:30 PM at The Capital Playhouse(owned by jeff kingsbury):
» Will be opening night of Jeff Kingsbury's Play, Scrooge the Musical. How ironic. THIS IS A CALL TO ARMS,LEGS,MOUTHS and other dissenting organs. We need your help to blockade the doors of the capital playhouse, cause a raucous and otherwise DISOBEY at the aforementioned date and time. bring your friends, clients, lovers, family and fellows to help myself, my neighbours and the growing population of those without homes and places to go. as of last night the new city ordinances have passed, and will go in to effect on February 1st. these ordinances are plainly life threatening to all denizens of the downtown area. Let's upturn these cowardly proposals. Jeff Kingsbury, a City Council member, directly responsible for the fraudulent ordinances will be starring as Ebenezer Scrooge in the musical. He needs a wake up call. Help disrupt Jeff Kingsbury's 21.00-31.00 priced EMBARASSMENT TO THE COMMUNITY. we will convene around 7:00 at the Capital Playhouse - 612 Fourth Ave. E. Olympia, WA 98501 |
