First of all, I'm not a lawyer just a citizen that has an innate passion for justice, civics and is a seasoned activist at this point (I guess being "monitored" counts for something). That being said here are my initial thoughts:

1. Go for future 2/3 requirement for amendments to constitution for props, initiatives, Referendums in CA. Continue to assert that this just passed ban should not stand without 2/3 majority for a constitutional amendment. However, it will only be "well settled" after it eventually is tried under the federal supreme court.

2. Because this is an issue dealing with a "class" of people there may be some legal standing to assert under anti-discrimination law.

3. Separation of Church and State and the presumption that we are a nation of people that consents to its laws...if the laws are unjust there will be disharmony. This bodes well when we come up against ideals (who is equal under the law/privileges of marriage should be the same for all of consenting age irregardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or religious affiliation or faith or lack of it). It is my belief that the promise of our union of states is all encompassing for all of the people of our nation.

4. Some thoughts about the church and their religious bias against same sex marriages...

Procreation- Not all heterosexuals can procreate (this will not stand as a "test" for who can marry).

Sexual Practices- It is not something that should be allowed to be legislated... what type of sexual practices consenting adults engage in...heterosexuals won’t go for this either...hey who wants to go down this road of deciding which types of sexual activity between consenting adults heterosexual or homosexual is "allowed".

Parenting- Parenting takes love and commitment...this is not innately in the favor of heterosexuals either.

Fyi~good citizens of WA State.

I only wish other states had a handle on election security as ours appears to have according to this video. Please feel free to comment on any "security breaches" you may feel could still be lurking in our state's next vote tally.

And this is just the list of stuff that they will admit to working on.

I encourage people to do a keyword search of clandestine intelligence+U.S.

Research is much of the process involved in writing a fiction book. Fiction may be the safest way to document the fascism that is threating the human race. Yes my friends you will just have to read between the lines.

Solidarity,

Taryn G.

Watch the previous conference and other shows on Media Reform and prime yourself to digest the next conference which is starting Jan 12th 2007

See FSTV (Free Speech TV) on either Dish or Direct TV and look for National Conference or Media Reform shows.
Perhaps "TIVO" all of these and have a rainy day teach-in with a few friends when you watch all this stuff.

See this link for the schedule for FSTV (Note these are Eastern times so you need to subtract 3 hours for times here in WA state).

I hope some of you view these very important forums.  I encourage the local access TV (TCTV) & radio stations (FRO & KAOS) in Oly to carry this stuff too...make time in the airwaves to share this.  Ask the Station Directors to carry this stuff.
