I've been saying from the beginning that if indeed these men are guilty, death should be their punishment. It looks like I'm not the only one.

And for Americans who have been caught in Afghanistan (or as part of any terror plot)?

Article II, Section 3, United States Constitution

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confression in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the life of the Person attainted.

The Olympian: Soliders may face death penalty:

An Army investigator has recommended that four soldiers accused of murder in a raid in Iraq should face the death penalty if convicted, according to a report obtained Saturday by The Associated Press.
