Olympia Coffee Roasting is giving away Free Coffee Today! Don't miss out!

For those of you still patronizing Starbucks in a town with the great roasters we have, (Like Olympia Coffee Roasting), I wag the wiggling finger of shame at you! ;)

You can never be sure, you can never fully trust the people you hire to govern, or the people to be governed. What do you do? I've decided this year to believe. To believe that our country can be healed. I've decided to come off the fence, and declare my support for Barack Obama

Please click on the image above, to see a bit more about why I've chosen to believe, against reasonable hope, perhaps, that our country can be united, and people can start to believe in the precepts of tolerance, welcoming immigrants of all nations, faiths, and ethnicities, and strong funded public education.

"The 'we' we've been waiting for to come and fix our problems is us!" It's time to take back control of this country, and put the scoundrels who have damaged our country into jail where they belong!

If you live in Washington, please attend your caucus today!

I know this is late, but a picture I saw on Rob Whitlock's Flickr Stream gave me the urge to post it.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

"'A time comes when silence is betrayal.' That time has come for us in relation to Vietnam [Iraq].

The truth of these words is beyond doubt but the mission to which they call us is a most difficult one. Even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, men do not easily assume the task of opposing their government's policy, especially in time of war. Nor does the human spirit move without great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought within one's own bosom and in the surrounding world. Moreover when the issues at hand seem as perplexed as they often do in the case of this dreadful conflict we are always on the verge of being mesmerized by uncertainty; but we must move on."

Twelve police vehicles from four different local police agencies descended upon Evergreen Park Ct, (Near the Courthouse off Evergreen Park Dr) with tracking dogs, private EMT, and Olympia Fire Department response.

KIRO Reporters, and Olympian Photographer were on scene. Officer Stevens, shortly after ordering me "back into my home" (I did not comply, as I did not leave my home until the man was in cuffs, which I could observe from my bedroom window), approached the Olympian Photographer, and volunteered to "give him the complete story". The reporter had not yet showed, however, so the officer walked away to talk with Detectives from the Tumwater PD, (where we were told the pursuit was started.)

Dingo even got quoted in the Breaking Olympian Online shortly after the arrest.

Referring to the OPMR and assumedly the OMJP, Michelle Malkin spewed forth this hyper-conservative intolerant tripe.

"Useful idiots, meet useful idiots. A reader forwarded me this e-mail request sent out today to “peace and justice” moonbats in Washington state. Seems al Jazeera wants “broadcast quality” video footage of the seditious protests blocking military equipment at the Port of Olympia."
