I don't care much for electoral politics, the only announced candidate I care for is Elaine Brown
Kucinich has proven he's a DP lapdog. His purpose is to keep the left attached to the DP begging for rotten scraps.

Submitted by Mike on Mon, 03/19/2007 - 5:55am.Former chairperson of the black panther party for president? Why not, Norm? There are lots of people who declare their intent and willingness to be elected POTUS. Almost none of them are ever elected to serve. We just get the party options like Clinton or Bush or members of the Federalist Society or the Masons or Skull and Crossbones or some other pseudo-secret society.
What is it about a resume that includes chair of the black panther party that bothers you, Norm?
This:
Submitted by Norm on Mon, 03/19/2007 - 9:46am.The rest of the world learned about the organization the following year, after a contingent of heavily armed Panthers marched onto the floor of the California legislature protesting a bill to ban firearms in public places. Weapons and armed self defense were key elements in the Panther program, one part of which focused on protecting black communities from brutal policing practices. Calling police officers "pigs," and following them as they patrolled black neighborhoods, the Panthers were soon involved in deadly gun battles with police in Oakland and later in other cities Link
Someone who condones/endorses this type of behavior...as president? No way. Do you advocate the killing of people for committing a crime without due process, other than self-defense of course? Do you advocate citizens walking around while visibly armed, no training, in order to keep the police in line? Isn't this simply vigilantism? Considering we have police investigations and people monitoring the police already, don't you feel an armed execution squad is a little much?
I don't condone it, at all. Next thing you know there would be a "multi-colored panthers" party to make sure that the black panthers weren't over-stepping their boundaries. Heck why don't we all just walk around with a rifle in our hands and if we see two people fighting we'll shoot them both and let the courts figure it out later. Mmmmm "street justice", gotta love it.
If she actually gained political steam, you may just witness Norm participating in his first protest.
