Raccoon Family

We have raccoons in our yard this year - one house off Capitol Way, where the bands of the Lakefair Parade are marching by at full volume as I'm typing. A few weeks ago, a couple of them hustled up our sidewalk to the alley and vanished before I could get out there and see where they went; I saw one making its way along the railing of our neighbor's second floor deck last week; and yesterday a mother with three babies spent some time playing around with them in our yard before they hustled into the crawl space under our back deck. (We'll se if they're living in there, or if it just looked like a good place to get out of the grey misty weather for a rest...)
