Caiman News

We all know caimans are lurking in Capitol Lake, the body of water known to veteran OlyBloggers as the Fetid Lake of Doom (or FLOD).

Well, Sarah just called me up and pointed out that a caiman or caiman-like reptile has been captured in Clark County this week. Their insidious plan for complete takeover has spread.

Here's a link to the Columbian story. And Seattle Times.

The most insidious

element is the 2 foot horror will over-winter enjoying free room and board from his unwitting hosts to resume its evil machinations come spring. Clever bastard.

Meanwhile, in Oly

they apparently spend the winter in the capitol campus steam plant secret tunnels.

When was the last time anyone has reported a nutria sighting in the FLOD?

test caimain

I think Laurian is onto something here, I believe this caiman was sent out purposefully to test the waters, literally and figuratively.
