I was riding up 5th Ave. today at around 11 AM and I noticed Camp Quixote in its new spot at the First United Methodist Church. I would be interested in more information about the move. Did it go well? Congratulations on what looks like a successful move.

The move went very well.

The move went very well. Even though it was quite rainy, lots of people showed up to help and it went fairly smoothly. Many hands make light work.

That's good

I was hoping someone would blog the move, but when I didn't see anything I decided to at least acknowledge it. I wish I had the information to write up a post that I would feel comfortable putting on the front page. I think that Camp Quixote deserves some major recognition. I know that there are people who are working hard to keep it up and running. And I think it's worthwhile.

Very worthwhile

I also hope someone, when they get a chance, will tell us more on the move and about how Camp Quixote is faring now.

No news is good news

Generally the place is pretty quiet. At my shift, I just sit and talk with the residents. They're all so friendly!

There's not a whole lot to say. Things are going well.

Since the new location has more room, there are plans to take in more residents, although the exact numbers hadn't been worked out the last time I volunteered.

A surprisingly large number of volunteers have signed up, but there are still openings and more help is always appreciated. Email tucocamp@gmail.com to join the fun.

Thanks

Thanks for letting us know, good to hear that all is well.
