So I just got some old film developed, it was stuff that I shot with my Holga and Diana Cameras. I found this one in the mix and thought I would post it here. You can check out some of the other shots here www.quarterlife.com/jahone

Nice job

It has an interesting texture, almost as if it was taken a century ago.

I've had that same thought.

I've had that same thought. In fact I have a couple that I haven't put on the web yet that lean even more in that direction, maybe I'll work on them today.

Put more up.

I really like this.

That is an awesome pic!

You realize you could make money off of that?  I set it as my desktop image. Has a "100 year old" feel to it.  Very cool!

Sweet, I think thats a first

Sweet, I think thats a first (desktop image) at least the first one I now of. I would love to make some money off of my Photography & Artwork, really I would just love to have it hanging somewhere for people to look at it even if I never sell a damn thing. Someday soon I hope that will be a reality.

Nice Photo

Film definitely has some endearing qualities that make the transition to digital less appealing. However, it is possible to process digital photos in a way that gives them a feeling of film.

I like this photo of the Capitol Building Dome and Temple of Justice as they look over Capitol Lake. Nice timing with the gull (and its reflection.) It has a quality of "realness" that is admirable.

Thanks RW, I know what you

Thanks RW, I know what you mean about digital versus film, It would be pretty easy for me to do everything needed to recreate this image digitally, but there is a certian emotion that I feel resonates from film especially when using a Holga or Diana camera.

The gull was one of those moments that are totally lucky, and after you take the shot you can feel a little excitement that you might of caught something of interest. This is just one moment that worked out, I couldn't tell you how many moments haven't worked out.
