May 7 2007 - 5:30pm There will be a carpool from Olympia to go to a Peace Vigil in Aberdeen Washington. The Peace Vigil is held regularly on Mondays at 7pm. This will be a display of solidarity with Aberdeen Peace Activists who are opposed to the use of their port to ship weapons of destruction to Iraq. *Important*: The Olympia carpool will be at 5:30; at the Old Rainy Day Parking lot (Division and Harrison). The vigil in Downtown Aberdeen will be held at the Aberdeen City Hall, which is at 200 East Market Street. (edit: This is the correct location.) So come take part and express your dissent towards this rotten occupation in Iraq. Don't let your tax dollars be spent anymore on propping up the interests of multinational oil conglomerates! I hope to see you there! |
