1. There is a continual war being waged by the forces of order, hierarchy, and domination against the undying energy of human spirituality. Capitalism hopes to make everything into a commodity, so that nothing is un-owned: love becomes a fetish for "sexy" eye-candy, religion carries a price tag. But passionate cries from the gut CANNOT submit to systemization. Chaos CANNOT give in to order. Humanity, by necessity, must fight against the institutional monsters that would annihilate beauteous desire. We must induce a realization of radical freedom. There is no other option. We are not free to choose not to be free.

2. Falling in love is an act of insurrection. Too often, revolution is conceived as rigid and doctrinal. We must tell those who speak of the proletarian revolt, etc. (or of reformist "progressivism") that they are subjugating themselves to endless monotony; they are on the other side of the capitalist coin. If the revolution isn't fun, it sure as hell isn't our revolution.

3. "The satisfaction which no longer comes from the use of abundant commodities is now sought in the recognition of their values as commodities: the use of commodities becomes sufficient unto itself; the consumer is filled with religious fervor for the sovereign liberty of the commodities." -Guy Debord, the Society of the Spectacle

4. The white-spotted fawn lays down in the field. The orange-red leaves float to the ground. I hold a stone in my hand . . . clenched . . . cold. The sun burns my ear. The river flows everywhere. I hold a stone in my hand. The wind sings symphonies. I hold a stone in my hand.

Never again will we be slaves,
