Well, the image and the language certainly seem to imply much, but I'm not one making the leap based solely on a flyer found at the artesian well. So, does anybody have any knowledge they can share concerning the what?/who?/where? alluded to by this lonely flyer?

Wow, I hate to say it but this is truly pathetic

A general strike called by bloggers and publicized over the internet and by random people printing it the poster off and plastering it places. I love how they have a list of working-class job titles there , people that they suggest should strike. They wouldn't know the working class if it bit them in the ass. It's a fucking game to them, like belonging to a club.

And how does this stop the

And how does this stop the war?  If we all stop buying gas for a day does the price go down?

The club they need to belong to - the 'get a job' club.

Yeah...

Don't think I'll be participating. I'm needed at my job, and can't quite see how this will help. Bush: "Damn, where's my coffee? What? My secretary called in sick? Hmmm. Maybe it is time to end this war."

a great idea

This really is a great idea, but only in idealand. In America, where people really don't care, it's a flop. For every Robert Whitlock there are a hundred people who claim to want the war to end but will turn around and vote for a Clinton or an Obama, candidates that will not end the war, but spread it into Iran.

Wow
