"Dammit This is Stupid" Hey, anyone remember this show on Public Access? I used to love watching it as it was really well done. Does anyone have any links to videos, sites, etc? Just curious.

Don't remeber that one

No, but I remember the naked preacher and...(trying to remember)...Jim Gaas.

Oh the Naked Preacher

When I interned at TCTV I got stuck with reviewing the Naked Preacher's submissions after he got a warning about being obscene. This humiliating duty quickly earned the moniker Willy Watch. I viewed hour after hour of the dude preaching his fundamentalist version of Christianity and with each episode he slowly shed one article of clothing until he was modestly naked again. A slow motion Fundy strip tease if you will. I was never the same.

His show was jerked off (sorry) the air when sitting on a fallen log in a Sylvan environment, he immodestly re-crossing his legs thus giving viewers a tenth of a second shot of the head of his penis. So fleeting was the image that it to be reviewed in slo-motion repeatedly to be sure his slip was grounds for revoking his show. Fortunately it was not I who had to endure that process but I did see the objectionable material later and I can testify it was unambitious.

I recieved credit from TESC (where else) for screening hours of video tape searching for the Naked Preacher's penis. Not that I have anything against penises per say, but there is something terribly disturbing when attached to a pervy fundamentalist Christian preacher.

And what was the worst job you ever had?

That could be fun for Olyblog

Much like an open thread, someone post a "Damnit this is stupid" entry.

He was hilarious. Last I

He was hilarious. Last I heard of him, he previewed a Mystery Novel on Satanosphere and then promptly disappeared from that site.

I also liked Spud Goodman - I know he's Seattle, but TCTV aired him and he held the show in Olympia once or twice.

Thanks Jusby, I remember

Thanks Jusby, I remember laughing so hard at some of the skits that I was in tears. They used to have a forum back in the day.
