Demonstration Re Health Care Decision

Event:
Thu, 06/28/2012 - 12:15pm - 1:15pm

From today's inbox:

This Thursday, the US Supreme Court is expected to rule on Washington Attorney General (and current Republican gubernatorial candidate) Rob McKenna’s partisan challenge to the Affordable Care Act - President Obama’s health care reform law. It’s perhaps the most anticipated Supreme Court ruling in our nation’s history.

Regardless of the outcome, we’ll be ready.

Presumably, "regardless of the outcome" means you should be thinking about two or three signs - one blaming Attorney General McKenna for helping to kill the law (if the Supreme Court agrees with his lawsuit's arguments), one blaming him for trying to kill it (if the Court rejects them), and one or more signs for a messy decision upholding parts of the Act and throwing parts of it out...

I've received mail about this from several organizations - FUSE, Planned Parenthood, US Action/True Majority, and Washington CAN so far... (I don't know whether one of them is primarily responsible for organizing this.)
