1. "The Gypsy Baron" Waltz - Strauss
Hmm...are we just going through pre-arranged dance steps here? Do we have a monopoly on Bohemian lifestyles?

2. Voices in my Head - Denis Leary
Oh dear God, how accurate sometimes.

3. Coast to Coast - The Jesus and Mary Chain
I'm not sure, the song, or more accurately the album, is pretty much only about heroin.

4. Don't Let the Sun go Down on Me - Elton John
Ugh, how'd that song get there. One of the candidates for city council would sing that song all the flippin' time at the downtown karaoke bars.

5. La Mer - From Dawn until Noon - DeBusey
Do they play this at the bowling alley?

6. Union City Blues - Blondie
Union's in Mason County, and Union Mills is out by East Oly, but it's got the blues part right. Maybe Kingsbury will sing this in his next musical.

7. And Your Bird will Sing - The Beatles
Yeah, for the longest time Plagens and Taylor always played Beatles songs at Arts Walk.

8. Like a Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
I swear I am following the rules and not cheating.

9. My Deliverer - Rich Mullins' Ragamuffin Band
HA! That's rich! A Jesus Song! Waddaya Say? Are we, the people of Olympia, comparable to the slaves in Egypt?

10. Pavan For a Dead Princess - Maurice Ravel
Was she eaten by one?

Red meat is NOT bad for you. Now blue-green meat, THAT'S bad for you!

1. What does Olyblog mean to you?

"Apple Blossom" by the White Stripes. Hmmm. "Come and tell me what you're thinking, just when the boat is sinking, a little light is blinking, and I will come and rescue you." Apparently this is saying that I use Olyblog to help process my problems? Perhaps.

2. How do you feel about your own contributions to Olyblog?

"Most of the Time" by Bob Dylan. Yeah, I don't contribute as much as I should. That's for sure.

Caiman Intro for Anon Larry

So FLOD stands for Fetid Lake of Doom, obviously being the you-know-what body of water downtown. Caimans are best learned about through the Caiman Bedtime Story written by stevenl.

stevenl/Steve Willis also graciously (guitily) has drawn out the entire sordid tale, start with FLOD 1 and proceed at your own risk.

Follow these instructions

...at your own risk.

From a Steven Segal movie....

"Like I need this.....Vinnie!!!  More coffee!!!!"

I already have trouble sleeping at night.  As long as they don't commute to Scott Lake, I'm safe.

No one is safe

Have you noticed that there is absolutely no talk of caimans out Scott Lake way? Mmhmm, exactly, I rest my case. Silence is proof that the area is absolutely rife with the foul critters.

Concealed Weapons Permission

Be vewy, vewy quiet....I'm hunting caimans
