May 31 2008 - 10:00am Jun 1 2008 - 6:00pm Terra Commons will be hosting an Edible Forest Garden Work Party on Saturday May 31st, and Sunday June 1st to establish a demonstration forest garden at Circle Hawk Farm in South East Olympia 9404 Crete St. SE. DONATIONS NEEDED: FOOD PLANTS: Hazelnut, Serviceberry, Fig, Blue Elderberry, Raspberry, Currant, Chestnut, Nootka Rose, Jerusalem Artichoke, American Persimmon, Green Tea, Monkey Puzzle, Autumn Olive, Siberian Pea Shrub. WOODCHIPS: Maple, alder, willow, etc. NO CEDAR CARDBOARD: Bring cardboard (not white or colored) DONATIONS OF MONEY will go to purchase plants and planting supplies for Circle Hawk Farm and a donation to Terra Commons for doing the workshop.
