Please Forward to EVERYONE. Tuesday March 13 2007 there will be a PEACEFUL anti-War sit in at the Capitol Building. Meet at the Vietnam Memorial at 5:00pm on the Capitol Campus in Olympia Washington. We will be holding the Sit-in in the Senate Gallery. Bring noise makers, your voice and good vibes.

Only 4 people, including myself, had arrived by 5:30 when I decided I had to leave in order to eat before the city council meeting. Maybe it'll be better next time.

update

I talked to the lead organizer of this early tonight and she corrected me. It turns out that the action was at least somewhat successful and received some press regionally, both in Olympia and Seattle. Apparently the participants (10 of them) stood up in the gallery while the Senate was in session and made statements about the war and asked the Senators to use their power to stop it.
