Selma James will be at Traditions Fair Trade Cafe on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 pm

The Global Women's Strike - It's about investing in water, not war.  In caring, not killing.  I am trying to figure out how to push my calendar around to be there.  I continue to look for a means to create a better future.  Gandhi's model of simple living, yoked to the occasional big civil disobedience action still looks like the plan, but coordination and discipline are a problem.

Micro-credit investing and support make sense and are people to people plans.  I like them and have worked with a couple of those projects, but somehow we have to take the power out of the hands of the corporations and that's a real challenge.

Maybe Selma will have ideas or inspiration.  Fellow travellers, dreamers, seekers, gather round.

See you there?
